Dr. Michael Teitelbaum

Dr. Michael Teitelbaum

Dr. Michael Teitelbaum grew up wanting to follow in his father’s footsteps. He raced through one of the most technologically advanced colleges in the country – Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute – completing his 4 year bachelor’s degree in biology in an amazing two years. He went on to become one of the youngest dental students in the country graduating from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1989.  Dr. Teitelbaum completed a General Practice Residency at Lutheran Medical Center, and subsequently an additional two-year specialty in Prosthodontics at N.Y.U. before joining his father in private practice in Briarcliff Manor, NY.  He taught at NYU as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Prosthodontics for eight years, received his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2001, became one of less than 3% of dentists nationwide to ever receive a Masters from the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD), and one of only 2% of dentists invited and inducted into the prestigious American College of Dentists in 2018.

For 11 years Dr. Teitelbaum was Founding Vice-President and then President of the Empire State Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, which was renamed the Greater New York Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry as he became its 1st President. He is a director of the Westchester Academy of Restorative Dentistry, a Supporting member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and member of the American Dental Association, NY State Dental Association, 9th District Dental Association, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Society of American Magicians, and Alpha Omega International for which he was President of the NY chapter and International Regent for the NY area.

Dr. Teitelbaum now pursues his joint dental passions: helping patients in his office and helping dentists by lecturing and teaching the dental knowledge and experience he has gained in the last 30 years, including the invaluable knowledge he received from Dr’s Elliot and Edward Feinberg in the Westchester Academy of Restorative Dentistry.
